The aim of this game is to gather as much points as possible. You will receive points by predicting the Formula 1 results correctly.
1. Competitors
Everyone may participate this F1 competition game, however the organisator is allowed to exclude persons of participation. It is only allowed to sign on once per person.
2. Points
You can gain points by giving a prediction of:
1. Finishing positions
2. Pole position
3. Fastest lap
4. First out
Besides you may win some bonus points.
2.1 Finishing positions
Submit before every F1 Grand Prix race the three drivers (and positions) who will win the Grand Prix. For each driver predicted on the right position you will receive 10 points. Maximum gain of this part is 30 points
If the driver is not predicted on the right position you still can receive points according to the following:
1 position difference: 8 points
2 positions difference: 6 points
3 positions difference: 5 points
4 positions difference: 4 points
5 positions difference: 3 points
6 positions difference: 2 points
7 positions difference: 1 points
2.2 Pole position
If you correctly predict the winner of the Formula 1 qualifying race you receive 5 points.
2.3 Fastest lap
If you correctly predict the driver who drives the fastest lap during the race you receive 5 points. Per forecast the fastest racelap must also be predicted. You can win a maximum of 5 points with this. If your prediction is exactly the fastest racelap you will receive 5 points. For every second difference you will receive a point less. The score is calculated in a one thousandth of a second.
2.4 First out
If you correctly predict the driver first out, you recieve 5 points
2.5 Bonus points
You may predict the finish position of your favorite driver. If this is correct you receive 3 points.
3. Send your forecast in time
Your forecast must be submitted before the start of the Formula 1 qualifying race.
4. Results
The results become definite one week after the race. Changes of official results after that has no effect anymore on the result of www.f1forecast.com
